Big Daddy is baking up some Cheese Bread. It’s cheesy and delicious, and the best part is that it’s so easy to make!

Time
2 hours, 15 minutes
Ingredients:
3 and 1/4 cups bread flour
2 teaspoons salt
2 and 1/2 tablespoons sugar
1 packet instant yeast
1/2 cup milk at 105° F
1/2 cup water at 105° F
2 tablespoons butter, melted and slightly cooled
1 heaping cup extra sharp cheddar cheese. You can also use Monterey Jack or any other cheese that melts well.
Needed:
Bowls
Measuring Cups
Whisk
Stand Mixer (optional)
Instructions
In the bowl of the stand mixer, add the milk, water, butter, sugar, and yeast. Whisk until yeast is dissolved.
Add the bread flour (retaining 1/4 cup of flour) and salt and mix together.
Knead for 8 minutes. Add the retained 1/4 cup of flour if the dough is very sticky. You want a soft dough, but it shouldn't be sticky.
After bread is kneaded, place in a greased bowl and cover. Allow to rise for 1 hour or until double in bulk.
roll out dough into a 8 x 12 rectangle. Spread cheese over dough and roll up, jelly-roll style. Pinch ends and seal.
Cut dough in half long ways. Braid the two halves together and place into greased 8 x 4 inch bread pan.
Allow to rise for 45 minutes to an hour. Dough should be peaking out of the pan by 1/2 an inch. At the end of the rising, turn on the oven to 350° F.
Bake for 30 minutes or until internal temp reaches 190° F.
Allow bread to cool before slicing.
